Around the year 1200, Leonardo Fibonacci, an Italian mathematician, discovered a simple sequence of numbers from which ratios arise. 
The sequence of numbers: 1 1 2 3 5 8 13… ∞
For example: Ratio 8: 13
The series of numbers will eventually approach the mathematical ratio 1: 1,618
